Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 20, 2026
LAAP Group BV (BE0891763461), registered in Belgium and headquartered in Mol, Antwerp Province, operates this website and is committed to handling your personal data with care and transparency. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we retain it, and what rights you hold under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and applicable Belgian law.
1. Data we collect
We collect two categories of data. First, data you provide directly: when you submit an enquiry through our contact form, you provide your name, email address, company name, telephone number, and the content of your message. Second, technical data collected automatically: our hosting infrastructure logs standard access data, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, HTTP status codes, and session timestamps. This technical data is necessary for the secure operation and performance monitoring of the website. We do not use advertising tracking technologies, cross-site fingerprinting, or third-party analytics that correlate your behaviour across multiple websites.
2. How we use your data
Contact form submissions are used exclusively to respond to your enquiry, assess whether a business relationship is viable, and maintain a record of that communication. Technical log data is used to detect security incidents, monitor uptime, and diagnose server errors. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer personal data to third-party advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.
3. Legal basis and retention
We process contact form data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form, and on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to genuine business enquiries. Technical log data is processed under legitimate interest for the security and availability of our infrastructure. Contact form data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of your enquiry. Technical log data is purged automatically after 90 days. If a business relationship develops from your enquiry, data relevant to that relationship will be retained for the duration required by Belgian commercial and tax law (generally seven years).
4. Data sharing and sub-processors
LAAP Group BV does not sell or share personal data with third-party advertisers. We use a small number of sub-processors to deliver this website. Our website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc. (United States), covered by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Contact form submissions are delivered via a server-side mail relay; no email marketing platform stores your data. No other sub-processors have access to personal data collected via this website. We may disclose data to competent authorities where required by applicable law or a binding judicial order.
5. Cookies and tracking technologies
This website places a strictly necessary cookie to store your cookie consent preference. This cookie does not track you across other websites and is set for a maximum of 12 months. If you grant optional consent, functional cookies remember your language preference and session state. Analytics cookies, where consented, collect aggregated, anonymised data on page views and navigation paths using privacy-preserving methods. No marketing or advertising cookies are deployed on this website. You can review and withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. For full details see our Cookie Policy.
6. Security measures
All data exchanged between your browser and this website is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Our hosting infrastructure applies access controls, network-level firewalls, and automated threat detection. Access to personal data within LAAP Group BV is restricted to staff with a legitimate need to process it. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit) within 72 hours, as required by Article 33 GDPR, and will inform affected individuals without undue delay where required under Article 34 GDPR.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and Belgian law, you have the right to request access to personal data we hold about you; to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected; to request erasure of data where there is no longer a lawful basis for its retention; to restrict processing in certain circumstances; to receive data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability); and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@laapgroup.com. We will respond within 30 calendar days. If you consider that our processing infringes your rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
